Estate Recovery and the Excludability of Prearranged Funeral Agreements

Brian Vasquez General Counsel for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will discuss various issues relating to prearranged funeral agreements including what funeral and burial expenses are excludable, what needs to be submitted to KDHE to prove excludability, the Kansas Estate Recovery Units recovery of excess funds when the deceased was on medical assistance.
