Course Overview

This two-hour live virtual continuing education program provides Kansas crematory operators and funeral directors with a focused review of current statutory requirements, operational standards, identification procedures, safety practices, risk management principles, and ethical considerations related to crematory operations.

Delivery Method

This course is presented LIVE in a virtual classroom environment by Timothy 'Tim' Copeland, MS. This program is delivered synchronously in a live virtual classroom setting. Participants have direct access to the instructor throughout the presentation and can engage in real-time discussion, ask questions, analyze case studies, and, where appropriate, participate in learning activities. The instructor is present throughout the entire program and facilitates participant interaction and engagement.

This program is not recorded for continuing education credit, is not offered in an on-demand format, and attendance is limited to the live presentation. Participants must attend the live session and meet attendance verification requirements to receive continuing education credit.

Attendance is verified through virtual platform attendance reports, participant login records, active participation, and instructor observation throughout the presentation.

Instructional Format
