Current Veterans Burial Benefits
Representatives of Veteran Cemetery and/or Veteran Service Representatives will discuss current burial benefits for Veterans. Eligibility criteria and new protocols for burying Veterans in a Veterans Cemetery will be discussed in addition to benefits to Veterans who choose to be buried in non-veteran cemeteries.
Post-Cremation Metal Recycling
Why is it important to recycle and not throw away or bury precious metals? This program presented by Precious Metal Refining Services will cover the types of metals crematories come across, how the recycling process works from start to finish, why it is beneficial to recycle and how it can benefit facilities and or charities.
Discussion on Kansas Licensing Laws
The KFDA has formed a task force to discuss Kansas Licensing Laws and to make recommendations on whether any changes should be made to help the current workforce issues that are faced by funeral homes. We will discuss some possible changes and solicit input from the membership.
