Funeral Directors are often asked by families how to access social security benefits upon the death of a loved one.  Representatives of the Social Security Administration in Kansas will discuss the many benefits the offer and how families can access them.  They will also discuss electronic death reporting which is done through the states EDRS.

the KFDA Mass Fatality Disaster Plan - Be Prepared to Respond!

KFDA members will be introduced to the newly revised KFDA Mass Fatality Disaster Plan.  All funeral directors should be familiar with the plan and understand how funeral directors might be asked to respond should a mass fatality strike Kansas.
